Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, met with the European Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders in Budva

The Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, had a bilateral meeting with the European Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders, on the sidelines of the EU-Western Balkans Ministerial Forum on Justice and Internal Affairs, which is being held in Budva.

Appreciation was expressed for the efforts of the European Union for the continued support in the process of accession and reforms.

It was discussed at the meeting about the rule of law, the legislative agenda and the planned reforms in the judiciary, contained in the Development Sectoral Strategy for Justice (2024-2028).

Digitization was pointed out as particularly significant, which should enable progress and a faster, more transparent and more efficient way of functioning, which will significantly contribute to the development of society.
