The Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, attended the international scientific gathering "Antifascism, between memory and oblivion" which was held at the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle for Independence, organized on the occasion of 80 years since the first session of ASNOM.
Referring to the liberation of Skopje and the first session of ASNOM, Professor Natasa Kotlar emphasized that the struggle of the Macedonian people for statehood has been waged for decades and centuries, in parallel with the struggle for special historical development, national identity, language and culture.
Prime Minister, Hristijan Mickoski, pointed out that as a nation we have experienced a lot of disruption in the past, but it's as if we haven't learned a lesson, we haven't corrected ourselves, and we've continued to repeat some of the things.,, Let's not repeat the mistakes of the past, because if repeating them, I can state that those generations that will remain behind us may not have the opportunity to live what we are living today, which is the independent and sovereign state of Macedonia", said Mickoski.
It is our duty to preserve and continue their work, building a future in which Macedonia will remain a home of peace, solidarity and progress.
In honor of their legacy, we remain committed to the path of freedom and democracy.
