The Ministry of Justice continues dedicatedly with the activities related to the amendments to the Electoral Code

A constructive working meeting was held with the chief state auditor, Maksim Acevski, dedicated to reforms in the electoral legislation.
The role of the State Audit Office is essential for ensuring a transparent and credible election process. Through its independent and professional work, this institution controls the financial operations of the participants in the elections, contributing to accountability and legality.
At the meeting, the need to submit concrete proposals and comments was emphasized, which should be reviewed by the working group in charge of preparing the changes.
In the past period, meetings were already held with the State Election Commission, the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services, as well as with representatives of independent citizens' initiatives.
