Regional cooperation with Montenegro for progress towards the EU

The Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, met with the Ambassador of Montenegro to the Republic of North Macedonia, Zoran Miljanic.
The focus of the talks was the reform agenda, the exchange of experiences and the intensifying of cooperation within the framework of the European integration processes.
The two sides confirmed their joint determination to strengthen the rule of law, improve the judicial system and share best practices on the path to full membership in the European Union.
Cooperation with Montenegro represents a significant step in fulfilling the reform priorities and achieving the strategic goal – full integration into the European Union.
