Hereby we convey greetings from the Minister of Justice, Jeton Shasivari, on the occasion of the great national holiday - Ilinden.
Tomorrow, from the place where the ideal for freedom was born: United for a just, equal and successful Republic!
At Mechkin Kamen, the place where the most important pages of our history were written, tomorrow, as part of the state delegation led by the Deputy President and the Minister of Transport, Aleksandar Nikoloski, and the Minister of Healthcare, Sašo Klekovski, we will mark August 2 - the Day of the Republic.
Ilinden is not only a symbol of the fight for freedom, but also a lasting message that the country is built on the ideals of equality, justice and a common future. Even today, these values are the foundation of our Republic and our obligation to build a community in which every citizen feels equal and respected.
Our strength has always been implemented in diversity. The Republic of Macedonia is the common home of all its citizens, and its development is the result of the contribution of all communities.
Let the words of Kruševo's Manifesto remind you of one value that never gets old, and that is togetherness, unity.
"We, your eternal neighbors, friends and acquaintances... without taking into consideration of our differences in religion, ethnicity, gender and beliefs...".
Even today, this message speaks of Macedonia as the common home of all its citizens.
May we preserve those ideas even today - with mutual respect, understanding and solidarity, because differences will not divide us, they will enrich our common future.
Let the spirit of Kruševо's Мanifesto be a reminder that freedom, justice and coexistence are values that are built together.
As the Minister of Justice, I believe that true patriotism is shown through respect for the rule of law, justice, protection of human rights and strengthening of trust between all communities. Only through mutual respect, dialogue and equal opportunities can we build a country that will be strong, stable and successful for current and future generations.
Let us celebrate August 2 - the Day of the Republic.
Long live the unity, justice and common future of all the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia!
