Filkov-Hadži meeting in Pristina

The Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, held a working meeting today, with the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Hadziu, in Pristina.

At the meeting, they discussed about several topics that are of interest to both countries. Experiences and good practices in the reform processes, which move in the same direction, were exchanged. Two open issues of interest to both countries were discussed at the meeting. The "Monstrum" case was discussed, for which the Kosovo side presented that the requests for extradition have been processed by the Public Prosecutor's Office and that immediately after a decision is made or they have specific information about it, they will inform the Ministry of Justice of the Republic North Macedonia.

Regarding their requests for the "Divo Naselje" case, Minister Filkov pointed out that all the cases have been taken into consideration and that they are being handled in accordance with the national legislation and all international standards.

The two ministers expressed their determination to continue the cooperation between the two institutions in the direction of realizing the joint commitments.
