Meeting Shasivari - Sali: Focus on reforms and fulfillment of obligations from the European agenda

On August 27, 2026, a working meeting was held between the First Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of European Affairs, Bekim Sali and the Minister of Justice, Jeton Shasivari, at which the key activities and obligations of the Ministry of Justice related to the fulfillment of the European agenda and the reform process were reviewed.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that the Ministry of Justice remains strongly focused on the timely and high-quality fulfillment of the obligations from the European Union accession process, with a special emphasis on reforms, in the area of the rule of law and Chapter 23 - Judiciary and Fundamental Rights.
In this regard, one of the priority activities is the implementation of the steps of the Reform Agenda 2024–2027, as well as their revision.
The Ministry of Justice continues active coordination with the institutions involved in the European process, in order to implement the obligations in a timely, coordinated manner and with clearly defined responsibilities, in order to accelerate reforms and meet European Union standards.
