On the occasion of March 31 – Macedonian Judiciary Day, the Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, sent a congratulatory message to all holders of judicial functions and to all employees of the judicial system.
,,This day is a reminder that justice is not just a principle, but an obligation – to the citizens, to the state and to the future. You, as judges, public prosecutors, lawyers, notaries and bailiffs, bear that responsibility every day, with your work and with your decisions.
A strong and independent judiciary is the foundation of every democratic society. Therefore, we must together continue to build a system that will be resistant to influences, efficient in procedures and consistent in the application of the law.
As Minister of Justice, I remain fully committed to reforms that mean real changes – better laws, greater transparency, digitalization and strengthening of integrity in the system. These are not just processes, but steps towards restoring and strengthening trust.
Justice must not be slow or selective. It must be reliable, consistent and equal for all.
Happy Macedonian Judiciary Day. Responsibility is shared – results must be visible,” said the Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov.
