Today, the handover of the ministerial function was held at the Ministry of Justice, with the newly appointed Minister of Justice, Jeton Sasivari, taking over from the previous Minister, Igor Filkov.
Minister Shasivari emphasized that he will work dedicatedly, responsibly and transparently, with a focus on promoting the rule of law, strengthening the independence and efficiency of the judicial system, restoring citizens' trust in the judiciary, as well as continuing the reform processes in accordance with the strategic determinations of the Government and the European agenda of the country.
"The Ministry of Justice will remain an open and professional institution, dedicated to the interests of citizens, the rule of law and ensuring an efficient, fair and accessible judicial system," said the Minister of Justice, Jeton Shasivari.
