The Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, visited the premises of the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors and personally saw the inadequacy of the conditions for the performance of this institution's competences. What were satisfactory conditions 18 years ago for the Academy to start working on training of a dozen candidates in that period of time for future judges and public prosecutors, today, faced with the number of over 130 candidates who are to begin the training of the 9th generation of trainees, the spatial, technical and personnel potentials do not even remotely provide minimal conditions for the organization and maintenance of the initial training.
With the Director of Academy, Irena Trajkoska Strezoski, the Deputy Director, Ilir Iseni and the President of the Criminal Court, Ivan Dzolev, Minister Filkov visited the old and abandoned premises of the Criminal Court Skopje in order to see the possibilities of the existing facility and in the shortest possible time frame, with minimal adaptations and financial resources, to create conditions for the smooth functioning of the Academy.
We will create conditions for the normal functioning of the institutions in order to respond to the needs of citizens, service users and employees.
