Minister of Justice Igor Filkov held a working meeting with the Director of the Agency for Audio and Audiovisual Media Services, Zoran Trajcevski, within the framework of consultations on reforms in the electoral legislation.

It was discussed about improving media regulation in the electoral process, as well as ensuring a higher level of transparency and fair media representation.
AVMS will prepare specific proposals, which will be submitted to the members of the Working Group for Reforms in the Electoral Legislation.
This activity follows the already held meeting with the State Election Commission, where issues related to improving the legal framework and strengthening the efficiency of the electoral process were raised.
In the coming period, there will be consultations  with the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption, the State Audit Office, as well as with representatives of the civil sector, in order to ensure an inclusive and comprehensive approach in the preparation of the reforms.
