Minister of Justice Igor Filkov met Ambassador Kilian Wahl, head of the OSCE Mission in Skopje

The Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, met the Ambassador Kilian Wahl, Head of the OSCE Mission in Skopje.

The planned reforms and projects in the judiciary in the direction of the rule of law were discussed. A special review was given to the draft Law on Criminal Procedure, for which Ambassador Wahl announced that the OSCE will financially support the translation.

The OSCE mission in Skopje, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice, will continue to be actively involved in the preparation of the Development Sector Strategy 2024-2028, as well as in the working groups for certain legal amendments.

Cooperation and dialogue will be intensified in the coming period in order to implement the planned reforms in the judiciary.
