On the sidelines of the ministerial conference in Valletta, Malta, on the topic "Strengthening Cooperation in the Fight against Transnational Crime", the Minister of Justice Igor Filkov, met with his colleague, the Minister of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Davor Bunoza.
It was discussed at the meeting about the situation of the countries that are jointly on the path to the great European family. It was concluded that the two countries do not have any mutual open issues and problems, but they face the same challenges regarding the transformation of the systems and reforms in the justice sector.
The ministers agreed that more intensive cooperation and more frequent meetings are necessary in order to exchange experiences, dilemmas and possible solutions for the challenges that the two countries are facing with. To this end, they preliminarily agreed to organize a bilateral conference with the involvement of several stakeholders from both countries.
