On the occasion of March 31 - Macedonian Judiciary Day, Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, sent a congratulatory message, stating that the judiciary must have the capacity and knowledge to build an efficient, transparent and accountable system that will provide justice for everyone.
"The independence of the judicial system is the foundation of the legal state and a guarantee of the rule of law. Without an independent judiciary, justice becomes unattainable, and the trust of citizens is shaken. The judiciary must have the capacity and knowledge to build an efficient, transparent and accountable system that will provide justice for everyone. Only with independent and impartial trials can we build a society in which the laws apply equally to all. There must be justice and accountability!The integrity and expertise of judges, public prosecutors, attorneys, public officials, lawyers, mediators, notaries, bailiffs, court officers and court advisors, judicial police and all court employees are key to swift, efficient and fair justice.
