The Minister of Justice, Jeton Shasivari, had a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Justice of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mr. Guillaume Ngefa, in Istanbul, where both are participating in the International Justice Summit.
The meeting was an opportunity for a direct discussion on the situation in the judiciary, institutional experiences and the challenges that countries face in providing efficient and accessible justice.
Different legal systems and institutional experiences offer an opportunity to exchange views on the role of the judiciary and the importance of the rule of law in modern societies.
The interlocutors emphasized the value of open dialogue and mutual understanding as a basis for developing contacts and considering opportunities for future institutional cooperation.
