For the first time, after the adoption of the Law on Expertise in July 2023, the Ministry of Justice officially issues permanent licenses for experts.
Expertise is a key and inseparable part of court proceedings and is an essential instrument for ensuring justice.
"Experts are key allies in ensuring legal certainty and protecting human rights. They are the guardians of the truth in proceedings - the determination of the facts, and thus the initial outcome of court proceedings, depends on their expert opinion. After eight years of stagnation, we have also put the Chamber of Experts into operation, which has finally been registered in the Central Register."
Other submitted license applications are currently being reviewed, after which new licenses for expertise will be issued.
The Ministry of Justice remains committed to implementing reforms that guarantee greater legal certainty for all citizens.
