Proposals given by institutions for reforms in the electoral legislation considered

The working group for reforms in the electoral legislation held its eighth session today, during which the remaining open issues related to the preparation of amendments and additions to the Electoral Code were reviewed.
At the invitation of the Ministry of Justice, the sessions are attended by representatives of the institutions that previously submit proposals, opinions and recommendations as part of the process of preparing amendments to the Electoral Code for which additional clarifications are needed. In order to ensure a successful and well-dabated discussion, the institutions had the opportunity directly in front of the members of the Working Group to present their proposals and to provide additional explanations for the questions that were the subject of consideration.
In the forthcoming  week, the agreed solutions will be incorporated into the text of the Draft Law on Amendments to the Electoral Code, which will be submitted to the members of the Working Group for additional review and possible comments.
The Ministry of Justice expresses its gratitude to all members of the Working Group, representatives of institutions and political subjects for their active contribution to the process of preparing reforms in the electoral legislation.
