The Minister of Justice, Jeton Shasivari, had a working meeting with the Ambassador of Montenegro to Macedonia, Zoran Miljanic, at which the possibilities for further promotion of bilateral cooperation in the field of justice, rule of law and European integration, were discussed.
The meeting highlighted the high level of cooperation between the two countries, strengthening of the rule of law, independence of the judiciary, the fight against corruption and organized crime, as well as the promotion of transparency and digitalization of the judiciary.
Montenegro's experience shows that European integration is not a political slogan. It is a process that is measured through European laws, functional institutions and concrete, verifiable results.
Especially in the judiciary, European standards are not just a matter of harmonizing laws. They are proven through an independent judiciary, an effective fight against corruption and consistent application of the law.
European integration is built with work, reforms and results.
