Cooperation for a stronger judiciary and European integration: Meeting of Minister Filkov with the Ambassador of Spain, H.E. Rafael Soriano Ortiz

Support from international partners such as Spain, plays a key role in strengthening the judicial system and in the reform processes. It was discussed about the possibilities for cooperation and exchange of experiences in the legal sector, which is an important step in the integration of the Republic of North Macedonia into the European Union.

It was agreed to hold a bilateral meeting in the fortcoming period at which teams from both countries will discuss several key topics, such as digitalization in the judiciary and the Public Prosecutor's Office, international legal assistance, and the prison system.

Spain, as a long-standing partner and supporter of our Euro-Atlantic integration, remains committed to the process of democratization, stability, and development of the judiciary in our country.
