The Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, attended the ceremony on the occasion of awarding certificates to the VIII generation of trainees who completed the initial training at the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors. Wishing them success, Minister Filkov pointed out in his address that professional and ethical behavior is more than crucial in these moments when we are faced with challenges and when distrust in the judiciary is great.
"Your integrity and expertise as a key factor, and your professionalism in handling cases, are the essential elements in creating a system that protects the rights and interests of citizens.
You, as the long-awaited new energy in the judiciary, can and should do a lot to prove that you are the right choice of the state, which has invested resources and time in you.
Many challenges lie ahead of you. You will face reality and a large number of cases that you will have to act on or decide on in very short terms. That is why your education process does not end here with the completion of the initial training”, said the Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov.
The Ministry of Justice remains committed to working on all processes to ensure all the prerequisites necessary to increase the efficiency of court proceedings. Only with a joint contribution will we succeed in restoring the trust of citizens in judicial institutions.
