In the Basic Court in Gostivar, a round table was held regarding the needs for changes and additions to the Law on the Judicial Council.

The Ministry of Justice, in cooperation with the project "Support to the EU for the rule of law", began organizing  expert discussions with the aim of preparing amendments to the Law on the Judicial Council to address the recommendations of the Evaluation Mission, through a transparent and inclusive process that will contribute for the improvement of the legal framework that regulates the work of this body.

Adoption of the Law on Amendments and Additions to the Law on the Judicial Council is part of the activities and key strategic documents: the Growth Plan and the Development Sectoral Strategy for the Judiciary 2024-2028.

The suggestions, opinions, notes and proposals presented at the held public debates will be extremely important in defining the final legal solution that particularly affects judges. Precisely for this reason, our main goal today is to listen to your suggestions for proposed legal solutions.
