Nature protection is the foundation for health, quality of life and strong institutions

The first significant steps have already been taken in the Ministry of Justice: fully harmonized provisions on environmental crimes have been drafted and adopted, in accordance with European and international standards.

The key challenge remains – consistent application of the law. Therefore, continuous investment is being made in training for judges and public prosecutors and cooperation with inspection services is being improved.

Environmental protection requires a multidisciplinary approach.
