The Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, had a working meeting with the Ambassador of Greece in our country, H.E. Sofia Filippidou, where they discussed the excellent bilateral cooperation that we have had in the past period in various areas.
They discussed the reforms in the judiciary, the rule of law, as well as the cooperation of the Academies for Judges and Public Prosecutors of the two countries, which will be of great importance for bringing our legislation closer to the European.
Greece supports the European aspirations of the Republic of North Macedonia and is ready to provide expert assistance in order to facilitate the process by organizing workshops, official visits and meetings at the expert level.
Expectations are pertaining to intensifyng of efforts for full and consistent implementation of the Prespa Agreement by both states.
