Minister of Justice Igor Filkov had a meeting with representatives of the National Convention for the EU in the Republic of North Macedonia (NCEU-MK)

The long-standing successful cooperation between the NCEU-MK and the Ministry of Justice, as well as the confirmed commitment to its continuation in the domain of reforms and building the rule of law, were topics of conversation between the Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, and the coordinator of the Convention, Prof. PhD. Mileva Gjurovska, the co-Chairman of the European Movement in the Republic of North Macedonia, Muhamed Halili, and the coordinator of RG-3 – Justice and Fundamental Rights, Prof. PhD. Alexandra Deanoska Trendafilova

The National Convention for the EU is a platform that gives the opportunity to a wider circle of subjects from the scientific and professional field, the civil sector and the competent institutions of the state to be part of this democratic forum for open and transparent dialogue on issues related to the Accession Negotiations for membership in the European Union.

It was discussed at the meeting about the planned activities of the NCEU in the section of Chapter 23 Judiciary and fundamental rights and the working sessions that are planned to be held until the end of the year.
