The Minister of Justice, Igor Filkov, met the Head of the Program Office of the Council of Europe in Skopje, Oleg Soldatov, and representatives from the Program Office of the Council of Europe. It was discussed at the meeting about the cooperation of the Ministry of Justice on projects that are implemented within the Council of Europe Office in Skopje and are related to the work of the Ministry of Justice.

The Minister of Justice expressed readiness to continue with the intensive cooperation in the field of free legal aid, strengthening the capacities of the prison system, freedom of expression and the media, the fight against human trafficking, economic crime, the fight against hate speech, intolerance and discrimination.

The Minister emphasized that the cooperation and support of the Council of Europe is extremely important and significant, all areas will be covered equally and it will be approached with joint cooperation for successful implementation.
