The purpose of the Law is to strengthen traffic safety by introducing a special procedure for misdemeanors in the field of road traffic safety determined with the help of technical means and recording devices through the "Safe City" system, quickly and efficiently sanctioning violators and imposing sanctions that will affect general prevention in the area of traffic safety.
The Law on Misdemeanors is harmonized with the Law on Traffic Safety, which prescribes specific misdemeanor sanctions for perpetrators of misdemeanors in the field of traffic.
