Minister of Justice Jeton Shasivari had a meeting with the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic, Iveta Hricova.
Minister Shasivari emphasized the significant role of the Slovak Republic in the process of European integration of North Macedonia, especially through the activities of the Slovak Association for Foreign Policy, which contributes to the development of the National Convention for the European Union in the Republic of North Macedonia.
The National Convention for the European Union represents an important forum for open and transparent dialogue on issues related to accession negotiations for membership in the European Union.
The experience of the successful functioning of such a mechanism in Slovakia is recognized as a good practice in the process of approximation to the European Union and a model that contributes to the creation of a broad general consensus around European reform.
The cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the institutions of the Slovak Republic will continue in the next period, with the aim of further strengthening the European integration process and improving the European perspective of our country.
