The Minister of Justice, Jeton Shasivari, met the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of North Macedonia, H.E. Mariusz M. Brimora, at which they exchanged views on the current situation and priorities in the field of the judiciary, as well as on the possibilities for further improving cooperation between the two countries.
The focus of the meeting was on the laws from the Reform Agenda, with a special emphasis on improving the rule of law, strengthening the independence and efficiency of the judiciary, as well as improving institutional mechanisms for preventing and combating corruption.
Minister Shasivari informed the Ambassador about the current activities of the Ministry of Justice in the direction of implementing the reform priorities, including the preparation and promotion of legal solutions that are important for fulfilling the obligations in the European integration process.
The partnership with the member states of the European Union represents a significant contribution to the implementation of reforms and European standards, with the ultimate goal of building a modern and efficient justice system in the interest of citizens.
