Shasivari – Soriano Ortiz: Deepening оf cooperation with Spain in judicial reforms

Minister of Justice, Jeton Shasivari, met today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain, H.E. Rafael Soriano Ortiz.
Minister Shasivari introduced the Ambassador to the Ministry's priorities and the activities being implemented within the framework of the reform agenda. In the coming period, specific legal and institutional steps aimed at improving the efficiency and quality of the judicial system are expected.
Special attention was paid to the possibilities for greater cooperation with Spain and the use of its experience in areas related to the functioning of judicial institutions and the rule of law.
Ambassador Ortiz expressed Spain's readiness to continue to support the reforms.
Cooperation with European partners is an important part of the reform process, but the result is measured through concrete changes and better functioning of institutions. The Ministry of Justice remains committed to achieving these goals.
