Shasivari meets with Qatari representative: Promoting cooperation in the judiciary

The Minister of Justice, Jeton Shasivari, met today with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar, Rashid bin Saeed Al-Hajarin, to discuss the possibilities for deepening bilateral relations and opening a new chapter in institutional cooperation in the field of justice.
At the meeting, Shasivari stressed the importance of establishing direct contacts with the Ministry of Justice of Qatar and its specialized institutions, with a focus on the training of legal professionals, the fight against corruption and financial crime, as well as the digitalization of the judicial system.
Relations between our country and Qatar are continuously developing. The political consultations held in Doha in July 2026 and the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of labor in September this year confirm the potential for further expansion of cooperation.
In this regard, Minister Shasivari expressed interest in considering the possibilities for technical and financial support for priority projects within the framework of judicial reforms, in order to translate cooperation into concrete projects and measurable results.
Good diplomatic relations create opportunities, and institutional cooperation turns them into results.
The Ministry of Justice aims for relations with Qatar to go beyond the framework of diplomatic dialogue and bring concrete benefits to the institutions and citizens of both countries.
