Joint pledge for a more efficient and transparent notary

The Minister of Justice, Jeton Shasivari, today held a working meeting with the President of the Chamber of Notaries of the Republic of North Macedonia, Ceca Maleva Stoev.
At the meeting, current issues related to the functioning of the Notary were reviewed, with an emphasis on the need for changes to the Law on Notary, improving the digitization of notary services and overcoming challenges in the process of implementation of existing legal solutions.
The Ministry of Justice remains committed to an open and constructive dialogue with the Chamber of Notaries as an important factor in the judicial system, with an aim of improving the rule of law and increasing citizens' trust in the institution.
